Decided to get off my lazy butt (although I'm sitting to do all of this) and go through some of my Italy pics. Will probably never get all of my favs up, but here are some that I remembered on the top of my head. For really being my first big excursion with my camera and having cheap lenses, I'm pleased with the results for the most part. On another note, I am now trying to get in the habit of taking pictures EVERYDAY, even if only a few shots of a single composition, so be looking for some random stuff going up on here. so i came to florence italy a few days ago to hang out with a friend who is studying abroad and it is my first time out of the southern united states. i'm having a blast and taking tons of pictures, i think i might be near 1500-2000 so far. will be going back home the 18th of march, and will upload some as soon as possible, i have a feeling it will be awhile though lol

It's been years, but I have finally become consistently active here at deviant art! I think my excitement is due to the fact that I have finally purchased a nice camera. Until Feb 11, 2009, the only camera I have ever owned is a Sony W50, which, is a fantastic P&S, I will eventually be uploading some pretty good pics that I have taken from it, but as of the previsouly mentioned date, I am now a growing photographer. I am using a Canon 40D with the kit lens, although I should be receiving the Canon 50mm 1.8 II today in the mail.
